Health and Wellbeing Public Lecture Series Two:
The Skills Centre is delighted to announce that they have secured funding for the Health and Wellbeing Lecture Series programme for 2011/12 from the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare (NLIAH). Delivered in partnership with Coleg Llandrillo Cymru, the Skills Centre hopes to build on the success of Series One of the lectures (held between October 2010 and April 2011), which attracted over 400 delegates.
The lectures, which are open to the public and free of charge to attend have covered a range of topics from Stress Management to Nutrition and Healthy Ageing; attracting a range of delegates from healthcare professionals to college students and educators.

Health and Wellbeing Public Lecture Series One:

The first series of public lectures in Health and Wellbeing organised by the Skills Centre in partnership with Coleg Llandrillo Cymru
This initial series of monthly lectures is being held at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, and has been running from October 2010 and finishes in April 2011. The lectures have been designed to appeal to a wide audience, and have covered diverse aspects of Health and Wellbeing such as Stress Management, Nutrition in Children and Chronic Disease Management. The lectures are free of charge and are open to the public. Those attending come from a variety of backgrounds, from professionals working in health or social care, to carers, students and those who have a particular interest in the topic of the evening. The evenings are organised into two sessions, with an interval for refreshments and networking opportunities.
